Why the trouble?
Let’s face it, nothing is perfect these days, and even more so with homemade software. There could be dozens of problems! Some might deal with your Wii, your SD Card, and maybe even your computer. With Wii Homebrew so new to the scene, there is no help available to deal with these simple problems other then contacting the developers themselves. Of course, if you’re having trouble with any section of the installation and really want the cool emulators and applications, go pick up a copy of Wii Unlocker. It’s the best guide out there with every possible problem already solved.
Why the trouble?
With such a simple process, there are only a few things that could of gone wrong. The list below is meant to you help you go through go your steps and trace the exact problem.
- SD Card
- You did not copy the right files over onto the card
- You did not format it into a “FAT” file system
- You did not download the correct files associated with your Wii version.
- Starting up the hack
- You went into the save game data menu instead of the channel menu when starting the hack
- You downloaded the wrong version for your Wii and attempted to start the hack
- It froze, and you did not try to download the other Bannerbomb exploit fixes.
- My Wiimote won’t work in WiiBoot Menu!
- You need to use the buttons on the console because it’s not hard coded in yet

just wondering whether the homebrew channel’s coverfloader would down load gamecube games
also!!!
my coverfloader did not successfully down the game call Wii Sports Resort. It did show up but just not the cover or the game/ When I clicked on it, the screen became blank
does this mean I could not download the newer games such as modern warfare reflex and new super mario bros wii?
